· Hello and welcome to expoessays.com. My name is Manuel Derra, and I worked at the German pavilion at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan ("Expo 2005 Aichi Japan" for short). The Expo ran under the theme "Nature's Wisdom" and intended to provoke critical thinking about global problems and showcase possible solutions for eco-friendly and sustainable development. Covering the six months of the exposition (March to September 2005) and a little foreplay and aftermath, I posted weekly updates about selected topics related to the Expo on this page. I also published my photo gallery on the site.
